The God Centered Church—Biblical Church Growth, Part 2

April 24, 2024

Paul urges his readers to keep worship easy for outsiders to understand. Today, worship can be very divisive or divine. Worship is all about God, but in some people's minds it has been reduced to the level of furniture placement preference. Josh Moody explains what God teaches about worship.

Rethinking Sexuality: God's Design and Why It Matters by Dr. Juli Slattery

This book equips you to see how sexuality is rooted in the broader context of God's heart and His work for us on earth. It provides a framework from which to understand the big picture of sexual challenges and wholeness, and helps you recognize that every sexual question is ultimately a spiritual one. Instead of arguing with the world about what's right and wrong about sexual choices, this practical resource equips you to share the love and grace of Jesus as you encounter the pain of sexual brokenness—your own or someone else's.

About God Centered Life

In February 2007, God Centered Life was founded to coincide with the release of Pastor Josh Moody’s book The God Centered Life. At the time, Josh sensed the need to call people to center their lives around God and the Church to re-orientate itself around God. This is the key need for our culture at large.

When a national ministry leader approached Josh Moody and asked him to consider leveraging his teaching ministry to be heard outside the four walls of his church, the future path for God Centered Life began to take shape. In the fall of 2018, God Centered Life began to offer a radio and internet broadcast featuring Pastor Josh’s sermons, trusting it would have the potential to make a huge impact for Christ in the lives of thousands of other people.

Since its inception, God Centered Life has sought to engage culture, train churches, and reach colleges by providing solid, biblical teaching through its sermons, devotionals and the One Night Centered on God conference.
